PROVINCIAL BAILIFF SERVICES, commonly referred to as PBS in Atlantic Canada was founded in October 1972 by its present owner, Les Barrett and operated at that time primarily in the service of repossessions and court document service for banks, lending institutions, landlords, leasing companies, legal firms and a variety of everyday citizens.

Now, after celebrating over 35 years of success, with clients and customers from around the corner to across the nation Les has expanded PBS into a division of providing collection and debt enforcement services. Between 1980 and 2000 Les, previously operated the largest and most progressive collection agency in the Annapolis Valley – South Shore region known as Collection & Recovery (NS) Ltd and commits this new division of PBS under his direction as the same high standard of that a down-home agency profile in recognizing the value of our local clients and businesses as much today, as he did back then.

PBS have fully qualified personnel to address all your business needs and enquiries relating to both, Commercial and Retail problem accounts, and will provide free advise to help you better understand the necessity of getting those slow, delinquent and dormant accounts addressed.
